Go-To-Market Manager
We are launching a brand-new platform that will host a global community of software companies and key-players in the software ecosystem to accelerate their growth. The platform is a spin off start-up project from MediaDev.
Who we are looking for:
In order to successfully launch our platform we are looking for an Go-To-Market manager to join the team. We vision our GTM manager to be a hands-on product and commercial professional with an interest in Software and Technology. This role supports the overall company strategy and the execution of taking the platform to market. In this position you will have to orchestrate the launch of the platform and be the liaison between all the different internal stakeholders (marketing outreach, data, product development, the management). After the initial launch you will make sure that the platform keeps hitting KPIs and keeps innovating from a product perspective.
The responsibilities for this position include:
- Develop excellent working relationships with the internal stake holders across the organization
- Develop a feedback collection process to assess the relevancy of the value proposition prior to public launch and provide recommendations as to short-term and longer-term priorities that affect the success of the platform
- Devise platform go-to-market processes and launch scenarios including KPI assessment processes
- Supply marketing outreach managers with their marketing needs (in collaboration with a digital marketing team) including the creation of business cases, case studies, sales pitches and platform documentation
- Ensuring balanced on-boarding flow of new members that contribute to the growth of the platform
- Working with the technical product management to ensure feedback of users is incorporated in platform development and innovation
- Monitoring and reporting on the KPIs that evaluate the performance of the team
- Identify growth opportunities by leveraging data analytics, new product enhancements and partnership opportunities, and by optimizing integrations
The qualifications we require for this position are:
- Flexible, positive and results-oriented attitude, works well with changing timelines and priorities and can proactively manage up. Works with a sense of urgency and makes efforts to motivate others towards common goals
- 3+ years of experience working in a marketing or product management role for a software vendor or online platform / marketplace
- Outstanding written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to develop clear, insightful presentations, internal briefs and reports.
- A deep understanding of B2B marketing strategies and principles to attract various target audiences to the platform
- Demonstrated ability to gather and synthesize complex information, make sound tactical decisions, and communicate such information in a clear, simple way to a variety of audiences, ranging from senior executives to working-level marketing specialists
- Self-starter who identifies areas of opportunity and drives forward efficiencies, processes, global strategies and goals forward with cross-functional stakeholders and clients.
- Highly organized and capable of reporting on various campaign developments independently
- Has worked or lived in the US, Europe or ANZ
Not required but a plus:
- Experience working as a GTM for a B2B software product or marketplace
- Experience in a marketing or consultancy agency working as a GTM or product manager
